Linn Sennott

I began to study yoga in 1980. I visited the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Lennox, Massachusetts many times over those years. After retiring as a professor (from Illinois State University), in 2001, I spent a period in residence at Kripalu to obtain my 200 hour yoga teaching certification. I began to teach yoga for Illinois State's wellness program in 1999. I was mentored by Debra Risberg, a Kripalu teacher who owns Main Street Yoga in Bloomington, Illinois

In late 2003 my husband and I moved to St. Petersburg. I began to study intensively with Chris Acosta and later to teach here.

My classes are suitable for a wide range of students, from the beginner to the upper-level intermediate. I teach a heart-centered class that encourages students to use awareness of body sensations as a meditative technique to focus the mind.

Suzanne Andrew

Thai Yoga Massage Therapist,
Reiki Master and LMT
www.TryThaiYogaMassage.com

Like so many people, I found reiki, yoga and massage as tools to help me recover from a health crisis. In the summer of 2000, I was extremely sick. My body was shutting down all its natural processes; I was swollen with edema, my muscles were contracted and so painful I couldn’t walk to the end of my driveway.

Almost immediately, I realized that although the medical world could keep me alive, it didn’t have the tools to keep me healthy, vibrant and whole.

Taking full responsibility for my health; I became a Reiki Master and for the last 7 years have been sharing Reiki Energy Therapy with others. The biggest improvement in health has come as a result of a daily yoga practice. Asanas, pranayama and meditation have been part of my daily life for nearly 5 years.

pursue a career in line with her values and passions.

Laura’s teaching centers on helping students achieve mind-body healing.
